Household Product Standards ​CERTIFIED COMPOSTABLE: We source Certified Compostable, when possible, because of its environmental stewardship through the product’s entire lifecycle. SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS: Recycled materials are featured in the majority of our household products. Plant-derived, biodegradable, and recyclable are our top priorities. SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION PRACTICES: We support partners striving to reduce their carbon footprint through every step of the manufacturing process, from solar power to strategic water management and zero-waste strategies. MARINE LIFE STEWARDSHIP: We look for products with a healing impact on our waterways, from plant-based and bio-degradable “plastics” to non-toxic, fish-friendly ingredients. MISSION-DRIVEN EMPOWERMENT: We are proud to partner with companies that give back through environmental and community outreach programs. WE DON’T ALLOW: Our in-house Quality Standards Team routinely re-evaluates ingredients to ensure that our body care selection is focused on eliminating those known to be toxic to humans and the planet. We do not source products with parabens, phthalates, talc, aluminum tetrahydroxide, formaldehyde, oxybenzone, animal testing, and more. WE PRIORITIZE: Certified organic, non-GMO, Fair Trade, Leaping Bunny, and other certifications are prioritized whenever possible to provide an extra layer of transparency and trust for our customers. GLUTEN-FREE: We understand the challenges of leading a gluten-free lifestyle, which is why our stores are expanding their certified gluten-free body care selections as much as possible.
