Natural Grocers ® supports biodiversity by being a marketplace that prioritizes offering high-quality natural and organic products sourced from vendors who themselves prioritize biodiversity supportive practices. Furthermore, we educate customers on regenerative and sustainable practices by communicating our high standards in our stores, and through educational articles in our Health Hotline Magazine, on our website, and through classes taught by our Nutritional Health Coaches (NHCs). By integrating biodiversity supportive practices into our offering, we aim to contribute to the preservation and sustainability of our natural environment, thereby supporting a food system that yields healthy and nutritious options and food security. Regenerative systems promote biodiversity through interdependent practices. In return, diverse species provide essential ecosystem services, including nutrient cycling, erosion control, carbon sequestration, water infiltration, and pest and disease regulation.
