May, we don’t want to go to bed early while you’re in town. We want to enjoy your gentle evenings, filling them with conversation, music, and stories. But you also have us feeling energized in the mornings, ready to rise with the sun and throw our arms wide open to the day. Sure, we know you’re not magic. You don’t take away all our burdens or the world’s chaos. But May, you sure do make us smile when we take a moment to let your sunny warmth pat us on the cheek.
